loanDepot secures $125M repurchase agreement with Nomura
loanDepot.com entered a Master Repurchase Agreement with Nomura Corporate Funding Americas allowing the company to sell and repurchase residential mortgage loans and real estate properties for up to $125 million in aggregate uncommitted financing through September 2027. For a mortgage servicer and lender, such financing access is routine operational infrastructure, and the amount is modest relative to typical company balance sheets in the sector, making this a standard liquidity facility rather than a major capital event.
loanDepot arranged a $125 million credit line with Nomura to help finance its mortgage loan business by temporarily selling loans and buying them back later. This is standard industry practice and provides working capital flexibility.
